You probably see them all the time. Trucks transporting animals are common on interstate highways and county roads across the country. Have you ever thought about where they’re headed?
In crowded trailers or stacked crates, these animals are usually on their way to slaughter, and their last days are torture.
Transport trucks are not designed to protect animals from harsh weather, so as heat waves move across the country, temperatures inside trucks can rise to well over 100°F.

Farmed animals are transported without access to food or water, and suffer heat stress, asphyxiation, and heart attacks. Some die before reaching their destination.
